The United Christian Fellowship of Churches is a International Fellowship Organization of Churches. Each local church is a part of the National Fellowship Connection.
A Fellowship of churches is exactly what we are. Churches of all different backgrounds coming together, to organize with guidelines & certain protocol, only to help keep some type of order, otherwise there would be confusion and since God is not the author of confusion, He gives direction to the head to keep structure.
A Church organization is comprised of churches under a particular doctrine or belief, governed by leaders that maintain that doctrine throughout the organization. Most times the particular churches have the same name or an attachment of the organizations banner name. For example: The C.O.G.I.C., United Churches of Christ, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Catholic, Baptist, Full Gospel, A.M.E. etc.
United Christian Fellowship of Churches is a Fellowship organized to function properly. We are not an Organization, with doctrine and mandate for same name requirement. We just come together under one umbrella as one, to empower each other, and go back to our churches, beliefs, operating freely without a particular required doctrine to rule or govern us.
Our Executive Council is comprised of the Chief Apostle, 1st & 2nd Administrative Prelates, Executive Administrative Assistant and the Director of Protocol. These persons can only be removed from Office by retirement or death. They are the authors and administrators of the bylaws of the Fellowship.
Fellowship Elders are elected by a majority vote of the Executive Council, to be examined and consecrated Regional Bishops. These Bishops are then appointed to oversee Fellowship Regions which will be composed of 5 to 7 Districts. The Regional Bishop also presides over a Regional Convocation, which is held yearly and must conduct District Leadership Training's when required by the Executive Council. The Regional Bishops report to the Executive Council and makes recommendations regarding Fellowship Memberships and any ministry infractions that may occur.
Each District is presided over by District Supervisors. Districts Supervisors are the assistants, like middle management, whom the Regional Bishop appoints to oversee the Fellowship ministries in a Region. A District is one portion of a Region over which a Regional Bishop presides. The appointed District Supervisor meets with the local churches, that comprise the District, at least once every three months for a Quarterly Leadership Meeting. The District Bishop also presides over a District Convocation and a Leadership Training Convention in his or her District. The District Supervisor reports to the Regional Bishop at the Annual Convocation and makes recommendations regarding Fellowship Memberships and any ministry infractions that may occur during a Convocation year.
Fellowship Pastors are in full charge of their Church and is an ex-official member of all boards, organizations and clubs of that Church.
